Warner Bros. Client Area

WBSO Protocols

WarnerMedia requires every crew member, employee, and vendor to visit the Passcard system to answer a set of questions at passcard.warnermedia.com each day prior to entering studio property. You will be required to take your temperature as part of this daily questionnaire.

COVID One-Sheet:

View, download and print.

  • Passcard:
Once a production has been approved to return to work, they will each have their own location code. When filling out your startup checklist, the COVID Compliance team should be designated to receive and distribute the code to the crew.
  • Upon completion of the screening tool, you will receive a GREEN or a RED result.
  • If GREEN, you will need to show the GREEN result to security upon arrival for access to enter the lot. Please keep window rolled up. Hold your badge or driver’s license to the window. Your badge can be scanned through the glass. Paper passes will be taped on the front wind shield or tucked under the front wiper.
  • If RED, do not come to WB facilities, and, if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, you may need to contact your primary health care provider.
  • Your GREEN result is only valid on the date completed.
  • If you, a vendor, or a fellow crew mate arrive to work without having completed the daily health questionnaire, security will direct you to a nearby screening station to complete the Passcard questions before you continue to your destination.
  • We ask that you please anticipate additional wait times to accommodate our new screening process as fast pass lanes are not in service. We appreciate your patience at all gates.
  • Face Coverings Mandatory:
Everyone will be required to wear a face covering at all times, except while eating or alone in a private office space.
  • Social Distancing:
When feasible, a distance of 6 feet should be maintained between you and others throughout the facility, especially in conference rooms, break spaces and food service areas.
  • Essential Employees Only:
All production employees must have a call time verified through the Production Manager or Production Supervisor to be eligible to access the property. At this time, we are restricting admittance to the lot to business-critical personnel only in order to help maintain safety precautions for all. Please keep this in mind for any access requests you submit.
  • Handwashing Stations:
One touchless handwashing sink and between two and four hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed on every stage. Additionally, we will provide one hand sanitizer dispenser per support space (i.e. the Firehouse at the Main Lot & 21R at the Ranch).
  • For office workspaces and infill dressing room spaces, please anticipate one hand sanitizer dispenser at either entrance and one or two in common areas.
  • Refills or battery replacements for hand sanitizer dispensers can be scheduled through Office & Production Services (818-954-6777) at no additional cost to production. Refills for handwashing sinks (i.e. soap, trash bags, paper towels) can be ordered through OPS and picked up at the Paint Plus Store for Craft Services to install.
  • Beyond what Office & Production Services has outlined above, productions may wish to purchase additional supplies (i.e. hand sanitizer dispensers). Please contact your OPS reps for more information.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers are intended for stage and common area use and should not be removed for any reason. Productions will be responsible for the cost of replacing any lost, stolen, or damaged hand sanitizer dispensers.
  • Cleaning Services:
Custodial staff have received supplementary training and will regularly clean frequently used surfaces in offices and common spaces. Please reach out to Office & Production Services at (818-954-6777) to discuss available disinfectant services on sets or support areas.
  • Contact Tracing:
In the event the Studio is informed of a person who is confirmed to have the COVID-19 virus, the WarnerMedia COVID-19 Response team, along with Human Resources and/or a Production’s COVID-19 Compliance Manager, will conduct contact tracing to determine if there are any individuals who are required to quarantine due to the exposure. Additionally, a written communication will be sent to anyone believed to have been impacted by the situation. In the interest of time and in support of health and safety of all potentially impacted individuals, these communications are sent without respect to the normal hierarchy of reporting lines.
  • Exterior Location Scouts:
All backlot and non-set locations are being carefully coordinated for a variety of production support purposes each day. As a result, all exterior location scouts must be requested and approved by OPS in advance. Please reach out to your OPS reps at least 24 hours in advance and limit your requests to necessary personnel ONLY. Face masks and social distancing will always be required.
  • Electric Cart Capacity:
When traveling on an electric cart, please limit the number of people to one driver in the driver’s seat and one passenger in the rear seat facing backwards, diagonal from the driver.
